Welcome to the 2014–2015 VGVA Volleyball Season!

Welcome Back Pub Night

Building on the success of our Pub Night series last season, VGVA will continue to host pub nights throughout the indoor volleyball season. Our first “Welcome Back” pub night will be on Thursday September 18th, at the Fountainhead Pub. It is open to anyone—no tickets, no cover charge. Come share a drink with your league mates and meet new friends from VGVA! We will be continuing to have pub nights on the 3rd Thursday of each month, so mark your calendars now!

Recreational Division

Some players may be wondering what’s going to happen to the Recreational division as long as the strike continues. Here’s the updated information:

1) Rec division will run at its normal time of 7–9PM, on Fridays at Jericho Hill Gym (4196 West 4th Avenue, just west of Alma Street) for the month of September. Once the strike ends, we will resume using the King George Secondary School gym. The first night of Rec division will be Friday September 5, 2014. More information on the Recreational division page.

2) For the month of September, Rec will be free for all players, regular or dropin. Those people who have already registered for Rec will receive refunds for the court fees for the month of September to ensure they are not paying for time that is not being used.
