Queen Vicki 2014 is scheduled for April 26–27, 2014 at the Harry Jerome Sports Centre. Full registration and tournament details are now available!



Mr Spiked Poster

VGVA is bringing back its signature party… SPIKED 2014 will be MR. SPIKED : a pageant contest for the title of MR. SPIKED. There will be a prize for the winner. Only 10 contestants can enter. Preference given to VGVA members. Sign up now by talking to a Director.

The party will be Saturday May 3 at Celebrities night club. Tickets will be available at league play and Little Sisters. $10 in advance and $15 at the door.


AGM & Award Ceremony

The Annual General Meeting and Awards banquet will be at the Coast Plaza Hotel on Denman Street on Sunday May 4: Cocktails start at 6:30 pm, dinner to follow with AGM business and Awards presentation after dinner. Free to VGVA Members, we just require an RSVP.
Guests are welcome and are $30.00 per person. Please RSVP for guests as well. Guest Payment collected at door. LAST DAY TO RSVP IS APRIL 20.

Executive Board Elections

At the upcoming AGM, your new Executive Board will be elected. Board positions are available online. If you are a current VGVA member interested in running in a Board election, simply send our electoral officer Shawn Courtorielle an email—nomination by a third party is not required. The positions of Treasurer and Webmaster are appointed but you can still let Shawn know if you want to be considered for those positions as well.


A Message from the Chair

Thank-you for visiting our website. You'll find everything you need to know about us including our five league divisions, Queen Vicki and One Day Tournaments, social events, registration process and drop-in information. We offer volleyball divisions for every level of skill - from the recreational player to the highly competitive.

If you don't want to play volleyball but want to party with the volleyball boys and girls - just check out our upcoming VGVA social events. We throw several parties during the year and everyone is welcome!

VGVA continues to work towards exceeding the expectations of all our members and create volleyball levels that offer the best experience for everyone.  Feel free to contact any member of the Executive with your thoughts or ideas.
